| Abstract： |
Translation study of Le Rêve dans le Pavillon Rouge is of great importance in today's Chinese “going
out” culture. This article is specified in following several aspects for the study of poetry translation art in
the French version of Le Rêve dans le Pavillon Rouge by Mr. Tche-houa LI : the corresponding relationship between the number of words of original poem and the number of syllables in poetry translation;
the reproduction of original poem rhythm in the translation; the translation strategies of the word game
（phonetic pun）in the original poem. Then by evaluation and analysis of the translation, we will
conduct an in-depth study to the above several important questions in the practice of French translation
of Chinese poetry and put forward some relevant constructive suggestions. |
