| Abstract： | Cities are an important theme in Western novels. Since the nineteenth century, Paris has been the main place for generations of French writers. Modiano inherits the tradition of urban writing and closely combines literary imagination with urban space. The Paris urban space writing in his works is not only very poetic, but also contains profound historical, social and cultural connotations, and is also an important means to reveal the core theme of the work. |
