Abstract: |
The "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program" is a major reform project proposed according
to the guidelines of the 17th Party Congress, and how to move from a large engineering education country to a strong engineering education country is the primary issue of the excellent program. France,
which has a history of cultivating elite engineers for more than two hundred years, can give us a lot of
inspiration and reference in this regard. This paper takes several top engineering universities in Paris
area as examples, looks back on the tradition and spirit of French elite engineer education, and examines
the strict management and control of students, teachers and scale of French engineering schools, as well
as the challenges they face under the influence of globalization. |
